This weekend

Hey Guys,

This weekend Jimmy and I went to the Chicago Car Show. It is the largest car show in the country and there were over 1000 cars there. It was very cool. If you ever get a chance to go to one of these, GO. So much fun. I thought you might enjoy some of these picture
s.

What did you do this weekend?

This was a concept car from Lexus. Crazy!

This was my favorite, an old BMW

This was Jimmy's favorite, the Dodge Challenger

This car is $500,000!

Wow those cars are really cool. It's amazing how much car technology has changed over the years. I think pretty soon the major industries are going to progressivly make more gas efficient cars. Wouldn't nuclear powered cars be cool? One car/motorcycle your husband would like is the APTERA. If he googles that name, links and other stuff on it should pop up. It kind of looks like an airplane on wheels and gets (according to the website)300 miles per gallon.
Hopefully next week I will be getting my drivers license. My grandfather bought a 1995 white Isuzu Rodeo which he wants me to have. When we see them next I'm going to buy it from him. He's so excited he is driving it around all the time evaluating the car.
Last weekend I worked, went to Church, a birthday party, a meeting, ate food, and surfed.
How was your visit to the Cenral Coast?

I'm glad you liked the pictures. It was a very interesting show. You are right about fuel efficiency being the future. At the show we saw all kinds of hybrid cards, including fuel cell cars. It is very interesting technology.

Let me know how your drivers test goes. I'm sure you will do great! That is really nice that your grandfather found a car for you. My first car was a white '92 volvo. It was a great car. I'm sure you will love having a Rodeo. I had a Toyota 4Runner all through college. I loved that car, and Rodeos are very similar. They are great, except when you have to buy gas:) Have fun with it!

Glad to see you are staying busy. How has the surf been? Jimmy sure misses it! We had a great time in SLO the other weekend. Were able so spend a lot of time with our nephew Ben, as well as extended family members on Jimmy's side. Aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. Great time, and nice to get out of the cold weather! It was also really nice to be able to meet Tyler and his family. Good luck on your drivers test!
